Gaming Room ATTENDANTs – HOTEL RENMARK

Casual Position | Evenings & Weekends
Approx. 20 + hours per week

About Us:
The Gaming Room Attendant plays a critical role in ensuring a pleasant, safe, and engaging environment for patrons within our busy gaming room. This individual will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with gaming machine operations, handling cash transactions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Welcome patrons to the gaming area, answer questions, and assist with gaming machine operation as needed. Maintain a friendly, approachable demeanor to ensure a positive customer experience.

  • Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform basic troubleshooting of gaming machines, including clearing minor faults and alerting technical support for complex repairs. Ensure all machines are operational and report any issues promptly.

  • Cash Handling: Conduct cash payouts and exchanges following all cash-handling protocols. Ensure accurate recording and reporting of cash transactions.

  • Compliance and Security: Monitor the gaming area to ensure patrons are following venue policies and that age restrictions are adhered to. Remain vigilant in identifying and reporting suspicious activities.

  • Cleanliness and Order: Keep the gaming room clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

  • Record-Keeping: Accurately log machine counts, payouts, and shift details. Assist in maintaining records for regulatory compliance as needed.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and provide feedback to improve the gaming room experience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience & Skills: Prior experience in customer service or a gaming environment is preferred, RSA and RSG is required.

    • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

    • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

    • Cash-handling proficiency and high attention to detail

    • Excellent verbal communication

  • Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Great pay including Penalty Rates
