Booking Policy
Experiences
We exclusively offer two chefs’ menus, Austerity and Prosperity and ask that diners choose one experience per table.
Austerity Experience:
A sharing menu $80pp*
Prosperity Experience:
Our full dining experience $135pp*
* Please note:
Prosperity is designed for groups of 6 or less.
Groups of 7 or more will be offered the Austerity menu.
Menus are samples only that reflect our structure and change to reflect seasonality and produce availability.

Reservation Timing
We recommend approximately 2-3 hours for your experience.
If you require to leave at a specific time, please let us know in advance so that we can adequately cater to your request. As our experience begins in the lounge we ask you to be prompt and on time for your reservation.
Booking Window
Reservations are released three months in advance, with new periods becoming available on the first day of each month at 8:00am (South Australian time). Credit card details will be required at time of online booking.
Cancellations
Our reservations team will confirm your attendance via SMS, telephone, or email two days before your reservation. Please note that tables not confirmed by 12:00pm on the day of the booking will be released without prior notification.
We require 48 hours notice for any changes to reservations. We need seven days notice for groups of more than six guests. Any late notice of cancellations may incur a $25 fee per person.
Cancellations are the guest’s responsibility and require a receipt of cancellation as proof; otherwise, any reservations that fail to show will be charged a cancellation fee of $25 per person. ‘Receipts of cancellation’ are email notifications or message history.
Cancellation fee may be waived at the discretion of Temperance manager.
Restaurant Seating
We will do our best to accommodate all requests regarding dining room seating; however this is not guaranteed and is subject to availability.
Dietary requirements
We are happy to modify the menu to cater to most dietary requirements; please inform us of any at time of booking.
Corkage
$25 per bottle of wine.
Children
We encourage our guests to be over 18 years.
Please note that Temperance does not have a children’s menu.
Dress code
We kindly ask all our guests to honour a smart casual dress code or dress to impress.
Gift Vouchers
Vouchers can be purchased online BUY VOUCHER
Temperance Gift Cards are non-refundable and must be used in full. Temperance Experience Gift Cards are valued to the amount listed and may not cover changes to restaurant pricing. Temperance Gift Cards are treated as cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Temperance Gift Cards expire three years after issue. Temperance Gift Cards may only be used for purchases at Temperance Restaurant and cannot be returned or exchanged for cash. Online transactions must be made within Australia, New Zealand, The United States or The UK to be valid. Temperance Gift Cards may not be re-sold or bartered for cash. A postage/printing fee will apply for Physical Gift Cards. eGift Cards may take up to 24 hours to be valid and may not be redeemable immediately after purchase. We reserve the right to change any of the terms contained in these Terms and Conditions at any time where the change is required. Gift Card transactions are purchased via a secure banking partner (eWay or Stripe) and Now Book It do not have access to the full credit card number. By purchasing, redeeming or attempting to redeem a Gift Card, you: accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions; and acknowledge that you have read and understood our policy.
Travelling to Temperance
Temperance is in Hotel Renmark with ample off-street parking located around the Hotel. Please enter through the Main Hotel reception Entrance and follow the directional signs.
